From SEO point of view, both domain name and URLs plays a vital role for enhancing the rankings in Google SERP.
Suppose, you are a SEO company and want to be on the top of SERP. First of all try to get the domain name that includes your main keyword (SEO agency in Delhi, India). If you want to target your keyword with particular location, you can use that location in the domain name as well. This will definitely help you with rankings.
If you are not able to get a domain name with your main keywords, do not worry, you can design internal pages for those particular keywords and design URLs for your main keywords. For eg;
www.example.com/web-development-services
You can make several urls and target each of your services/keyword with the help of other on page factor. I called it SEO friendly URLs.
Reason behind to make the URLs SEO friendly is that there are bright chances that you get a boost in Google SERPs, Because you are including keywords or phrases in the page name instead of ID number. This is one of the main factor and the seach engines may reward the page some sort of relevance.
So, Whenever you start promotion for your website make sure that the URL should be SEO friendly and content should be related to page. Write keyword rich content and take care of density of the keywords. Don't put much keyword in the content and do not forget to interlinked your website with the other pages of the website.
